RV Anh. Number

The Vivaldi catalogue's appendix for doubtful works

RVAnh. Appendix NumbersK. Anh. Number

RV Anh. numbers are the appendix of the Vivaldi catalogue: they hold doubtful, spurious and uncertainly attributed works, kept apart from the main numbers so uncertainty does not enter the canon.

They differ from RV numbers: the main numbers mark confirmed Vivaldi works, the appendix marks doubt. The usual mistake is to treat RV Anh. as Vivaldi — it only says "once attributed to Vivaldi"; authenticity depends on the entry.
